Over 2 and a half weeks in May 2024 I added a number of features and improvements.

List of Improvements:

Filled the bilge with thickened epoxy to prevent water from sitting in deep cracks - reemed out scuppers to allow better flow

Built a tiller locking system so I can lock the tiller on centerline while sailing

Replaced a plywood centerboard cover with varnished mahogany boards. shortened the slot to reduce splashing

Made a permanent jib fairlead anchor to keep the jib sheets from fouling on the main cleats

Made a new motor holder to secure the motor out of the way, but more accessible. Added a security padeye to lock motor.

Moved the traveller to a single point (reducing a lot of conflict)

Made a mahogany 'Herreshoff' cleat for the cabintop (mostly for carrying the removable cabintop). Also added tie-down hooks to hold the removable cabintop in place.

Made a shelf to hold the oar handles high in the bow.

Added tiedown hooks to hold gear on the bowdeck. Replaced awkward padeyes, with hooks to hold the tent walls down. Added hooks to hold convenient canvas bags in cockpit. Sewed canvas bags. Added wooden stops to hold the tent poles in place. Added tiedowns to hold the coolers on the benches (out of the way). Added netting (sewed nets) to the under-seat shelves.

Painted the mizzen foot since it gets hard use.

Built a shelf to hold the battery system.

Installed a paddle holder under the seat.

Added new stronger, lighter wooden cleats all around cockpit to support the sleeping platform.

Stripped and revarnish all brightwork. Stripped and oiled all the oil brightwork, Repainted interior of hull, and all the benches/decks. Fresh coat of bottom paint.

Added hole to the floorboards for lifting and hand pump access

New system to secure the tiller to the rudder.

Reconditioned and refastened mast partner leathers.

Cut off a few long bolts, and replaced 200 bronze fasteners, reinforced centerboard pinholes,  made 3 new centerboard pins.

Reinforcing for the pins that hold the centerboard up at night and the jib leads in place during the day.

Motor supports along the back, nets under the bench seats (to hold gear in shelves), green canvas bags to drop things in while sailing. New centerboard caps (varnished). Cup holder/lunch trays on the benches, wooden cleats under coming are for fenders.

Looking forward, ready to sail. Clunky/fragile tiller locking system replaced with graceful pad in the bottom right. Ice chest tiedown pad eyes visible above forward part of the bench. Removable crossbar for supporting the sleeping platform is in place.
